On that page choose one of the following topics to focus on:

• Is illegal immigration an economic burden to the United States?
• Was a fence along the border a good solution to illegal immigration?
• Should immigrants in the US illegally have access to social services?
• Should immigrants in the US illegally who are parents of US citizen minors be deported?

Take notes for BOTH sides of the argument using the Discussion Web thinking chart (see sample here). Remember, being fully informed is being aware of all aspects of the issue.

Use the information you've gathered to pick a side, to make your claim.  Write this out as an occasion/position (OP) statement.
